Board-certified cardiologist specializing in women's cardiovascular health and valvular disease.
Dr. Michelle Zikusoka is a board-certified cardiologist with an FACC designation (Fellow of the American College of Cardiology). She earned her MD from Yale School of Medicine and a Master of Health Science from Johns Hopkins University, completing both her internal medicine residency and cardiovascular fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. A champion of women's heart health, Dr. Zikusoka specializes in cardiovascular risk assessment, echocardiography, and valvular heart disease — with a particular focus on closing the gap in women's cardiovascular care.
“After completing my training at Johns Hopkins, I chose Austin because I saw a community where women's heart health was underserved. Every day I work to close that gap and help women understand their cardiovascular risk.”

Found this spot on BLKAF and now I'm a regular. Best soul food in the city, hands down.
